You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
The purpose of this meetup is to bring true Cincinnati Bengals fans together. Over the course of my years on this planet, I have found very few people who I can really relate to. Most of these few are true Bengals fans--some of the most loyal, forgiving, and hopeful people on the planet. You were there in the 80s during the glory years of Gregg and Wyche, but you were also there during the Shula and Coslet struggles of the 90s, and the ill-fated LeBeau era. You may have even been around to see the Father of Modern Pro Football himself coaching our Bengals in the 60s and 70s.
My dad raised me a Bengals fan in the southwest Ohio area, and I will never root for any other NFL team. I find it disgusting watching the native Atlantans scurry away from the Falcons. People As Robert Weintraub says in a 2006 article on slate.com, "Suffering is what separates the true fan from the debutante and makes a breakthrough moment of victory like that all the sweeter." In this group we will enjoy watching the suffering end as the Bengals re-emerge as perennial playoff contenders. WHO DEY!
